Does a person have the right to see his mother's will while she is still living?

My friend is the executor of her mother's will and has complete power of attorney of her affairs. Her mother is still living. My friend's brother, who has not bothered with his mother in 7 years, all of a sudden is demanding to see her will. He says he will see her in court. Does he have any legal right to see the will while his mother is still alive?

A person who executes a will has the right to keep the will private until he/she dies. The policy behind this right is that the person could change his/her mind about the disposition of assets at any time prior to death. You may learn more at my website http://www.LawFang.com
